Reign: Zac Sandvig’s Rescue Dog
Reign is a female German Shepherd/Border Collie mix who Zac Sandvig rescued from a pet adoption nonprofit organization. She is a fantastic companion animal, who Sandvig has trained in all basic dog commands. When Sandvig made the decision to bring a pet into his home, he knew straight away that he wanted to go the adoption route. There are so many wonderful dogs, cats and other animals eagerly waiting for a compassionate human companion to give them a forever home. Sandvig always trusted that sentiment to be true; but he didn’t realize just how true it was until he met Reign. A gorgeous German Shepherd/Border Collie mix, Reign is everything Sandvig could have ever wanted in a dog. She is well-behaved, alert and eager to learn; making for the perfect companion animal. Together, the pair are absolutely inseparable! Sandvig enjoys taking Reign on daily walks and hikes. They love exploring the great outdoors together and often visit national parks.

Zac Sandvig and his adorable dog Reign are advocates for pet adoption and animal rescue initiatives. Sandvig often donates to animal rescue nonprofits whenever he can. While Sandvig proudly encourages the incredible accomplishments of cage-free, no-kill dog rescues, he understands that pet adoption doesn’t always work out that way.
